Curriculum, 2010, Hazelden, 95 pages and CD-ROM, Adult-Professional

Double Trouble in Recovery is the only evidence-based peer support group that is led by peers and created for those with co-occurring disorders. It offers a forum for people who have a substance abuse disorder as well as a mental illness to address challenges and issues specific to them in an understanding inclusive atmosphere. This manual provides the information and resources professionals need to help clients establish and maintain DTR groups in the community. Reproducible materials on a CD Rom include pamphlets on starting a group and the role of sponsorship, a meeting script, a sample meeting notice, and posters of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of DTR. A DVD titled, Starting and Running a Double Trouble in Recovery Groups is available to use with this manual.
