Curriculum, 2009, Grades 7-12
This Curriculum provides a unique and effective approach for preventing youth violence by targeting the root causes of bullying and other forms of social cruelty. This program features different sessions for girls and boys. This approach uses a variety of methods including group discussions, games, role-playing, and other activities. Students learn how to own up and take responsibility for their behavior, treat themselves and others with respect, and to speak out against injustice and social cruelty. Topics covered include: friendships, teasing, sexual harassment, gossip, dating, boundaries, self-image, eating disorders, and many more. This model has been successfully used to train thousands of youth in schools and other organizations.
